Sharing a folder as a Channel or playlist is an easy way to share existing media in bulk. You can also complete a one-time or ongoing sync to automatically share newly uploaded media to your Channel.

Share and sync folder
In a folder, click the "Share" dropdown menu and select either "Share as a channel" or "Share as a playlist".
From the share modal, you can create a new Channel to share your folder's content to, or choose an existing one. Click "Choose existing" to select a Channel you've already created, or add a Channel name to create a new one.
In this modal, you can also choose whether to sync new media to the Channel. Select "Don't sync future media" to only add the media currently in the folder to the Channel.
To sync new media to the Channel, select either "Sync and publish new media" to publish immediately, or "Sync new media as drafts" to review them before publishing.
Media already in your folder is published to the Channel right away, no matter which sync option you choose. "Sync new media as drafts" only applies to media added to the folder later.
Note
Subfolders don't carry over to a Channel or playlist. All media in the folder is added to a single section of your Channel, and you can reorganize it into new sections later.
Once you publish media to a Channel or playlist and set it to sync, the synced Channel will appear in Folder details along with the media and play counts.
Note
Syncing only goes one way, from your folder to your Channel. Changes you make in the Channel, like reordering, moving media between sections, or removing an episode, won't change anything in your folder.
View and manage settings in a Channel
Click into the Channel to see the synced folder in the Info panel.
Click the gear icon on the Channel overview page to manage sync settings or stop syncing.
When you're all set, click "Save." While a sync is active, you'll see a banner on both the folder page and the Channel page. Anyone with admin access to the folder or the Channel can change the sync settings or stop syncing.
FAQ
Why can’t I share my folder as a Channel or playlist?
To see this option, you must be an Account Owner, Manager, or a Standard User with “Can manage” permissions for a specific folder. Limited Users and Viewers can’t share a folder as a Channel or playlist, even if they have folder access.
If your user role and permissions meet these requirements but you still can't share your folder, confirm that you're on a plan that includes Channels. If your account has reached its Channel limit, you can't create a new Channel, but you can sync a folder to an existing one.
Once I create a Channel from my folder, can I add more existing media from my library?
Yes! To add existing media to a Channel, go to the Channel overview page, click "Add,” select "Choose existing," then drag it into the section you want. Use the “Upload” option to upload new media to the Channel.
Can I sync more than one folder to a Channel?
Only one folder can sync to a Channel at a time. However, you can still share media from other folders to the same Channel one time. Just choose "Don't sync future media" when you share each additional folder.
Can I sync a folder from inside my Channel?
You sure can! On your Channel overview page, click "Add," then "Sync a folder." This method always creates an ongoing sync. To share a folder only once, open the Share modal on the folder page and choose "Don't sync future media."
