Why are my Soapbox links or videos no longer working?
Soapbox has been fully sunset, so the platform and any videos stored in it are no longer accessible. This is why old Soapbox links now return errors.
Can Wistia recover, restore, or retrieve my old Soapbox videos?
Unfortunately, no. Soapbox was officially retired on September 1, 2024, and the platform and its servers no longer exist, so Soapbox recordings can no longer be viewed, downloaded, or recovered — even by our Support team.
What should I use now that Soapbox is gone?
Soapbox has been replaced by Wistia's Record feature, built directly into Wistia. It supports webcam and screen recording, layouts, and editing.
