Embedded video is a tried-and-true staple of the online sales funnel, and ClickFunnels makes it quick and easy to spin up new funnels from scratch. With Wistia's embedded player, you'll get a seamless design along with our suite of lead gen tools and analytics to fine-tune that video strategy and drive more conversions.

Getting started

Recommended embed settings for ClickFunnels:

  • Inline (Standard) embed

  • Responsive sizing

  • Embed in a ClickFunnels JS/HTML Element

Embedding in a Custom JS/HTML element

The Custom JS/HTML Element is the best option for compatibility with all of Wistia's different embed types, embed options, and features.

This method supports Wistia's Inline (all types) and Popover embeds.

Copy your embed code from the Wistia media page, then add a JS/HTML Element to your page in ClickFunnels:

  • Open your page in the ClickFunnels editor

  • Click "Add Element," then under Misc Elements, select the "Custom JS/HTML" element

  • Click on the newly added element, then click the "Open Code Editor" button

  • Add your embed code, then click the "X" to close the code editor

To see your video in all its glory, save the page, then click on the "preview" button:

Embedding with URLs in a video element

The ClickFunnels video element only supports inline embedding via oEmbed URLs. To use a Popover or features like embed options, embed in a Custom JS/HTML element instead (see above).

The video element enables easy, URL-based embedding in your funnels. Learn more in the Add video to ClickFunnels pages article.

In Wistia, select an Inline embed and enable "Use oEmbed URL" under Advanced Settings. Then, add it to a video element in your funnel:

Save the page, then click on the "preview" button to see your video. The resulting embed code on your page will be an inline (iframe) embed.

ClickFunnels offers a variety of custom settings for the video element. Some of these may conflict with the customizations selected in Wistia, so for the best compatibility, we recommend relying on the Wistia customizations primarily.
