Add a webinar to your Channel

Note

Account Owners, Managers, and Users with "Can manage" permissions can add webinars to a Channel.

On your webinar overview page, open the ellipsis menu and select “Add to Channel”.

In the “Add to Channel” pop-up modal, select an existing Channel or create a new one.

Click “Add as draft” to add the webinar to the Channel in a draft state, or “Publish event” to publish it immediately.

Note

Each webinar may only be added to one Channel.

Add from the Channel Manage page

You can also add a webinar directly from a Channel. On the Channel's Manage page, click "Add" > "Add live event," then choose a webinar from the picker. Webinars added this way will be in a draft state by default.

Manage webinars in your Channel

By default, webinars will be added to a “Live Events” section in your Channel.

Though you can rename this section, webinars cannot be moved to other sections in the Channel.

Reorder webinars

You can change the order of webinars in the section — this also changes the order viewers see in the public Channel.

Edit webinar details

You can only change a webinar's publish status from the Channel overview page. To edit the webinar's title, description, or thumbnail, open the webinar's overview page.

Preview your Channel

To preview your public Channel, click “View Channel” in the ellipsis dropdown menu.

Published webinars will be displayed with the event thumbnail, title, scheduled time, and labeled as “Upcoming”, “Live”, or “On-Demand” (if on-demand viewing is enabled).

Viewers will be directed to the event room or the registration page if registration is enabled.

FAQ

What happens after a scheduled webinar ends?

When a webinar is completed, it stays in the Channel and is labeled "On-Demand" until you remove it. Clicking the on-demand webinar takes viewers to the registration page (if enabled) or directly to the recording.

If on-demand viewing is disabled, viewers will see the registration page with a note that the event is closed.

How many webinars can I add to a Channel?

You can add as many webinars as you'd like to a single Channel, but each webinar can only live in one Channel.

Can I feature a webinar in the Channel header?

No. If a viewer presses "Play" or "Resume" in the header, the first available media plays, and webinars are skipped.
