Add transitions
To get started, open the editor and select “Transitions” from the left-hand menu. Click the beginning or end edge of a clip, then select (or drag and drop) a transition to apply it.
You can see all your transitions at a glance right on the timeline. That way, you won’t have to guess where you’ve added them.
Customize transitions
Depending on your transition selection, you can set a custom color, duration, and/or audio transition.
Note
Only the Color fade transition allows a color choice.
Delete transitions
Need to delete? Select the transition tile, then click the Trash icon above the timeline or click "Delete transition" in the Transitions panel.
Tip
You can also click the "Undo" arrow if a transition was your most recent edit, or you'd like to undo the last few edits.
