Got a couple of video files you need to merge together? Need to combine multiple audio clips into a single file? We got you. Head into the editor to start stitching your content. Pop in a personalized intro, bumper, or any other clip to your editing timeline.
To get started, click "Add" from the side panel in the editor, then "Videos."

Add media to the timeline
To add media to the timeline, start by placing the playhead at the beginning or end of a clip, or splitting your clip. Then, click the “Add” icon from the side menu of the editor, and select "Videos."
Browse your Brand kit bumpers and Media library files or use the search bar to locate a specific file. If your video or audio file doesn't exist in Wistia yet, you can upload, import, or record it right within the editor. Check out the section below for more details.
After you've picked out your file, hover over it and click the “+” icon to apply it to the timeline. Alternatively, drag and drop the file on the timeline exactly where you need it.
After applying the media, you can continue stitching content and making further edits, or click "Finish & exit" to export the edited file to your account.
Upload media within the editor
When editing your content, you may realize you're missing a file or need to re-record a take. Rest assured, you can quickly add new uploads to your Media library from within the editor, which can be used in your edit session.
To add a new video or audio file in the editor, first click "Add," then "Videos." From there, click "Upload," Import," or "Record."

Click the "Upload" button to browse your desktop, or drag and drop a file onto the Upload button directly.
Uploads are saved in the same folder the media you're editing lives in. You can learn more about uploading in Wistia here.
Import within the editor
Clicking "Import" will allow you to paste a public URL containing a video or audio file for importing.
Note
Vimeo and Wistia URLs are not supported.

Record within the editor
Clicking "Record" opens a version of Wistia Record directly in the editor. You can record your webcam and/or screen, add a teleprompter, record multiple takes, delete takes, and pause recording.
