The Account Overview Analytics page is where you can see aggregated analytics about how all of the content in your account is performing. Think of it as your media analytics, but all in one place, for your whole account!

Metrics

The metrics on this page include:

  • Total Plays: The total number of initial play button clicks in a session.

  • Play Rate: Out of the number of people who loaded content on a web page, this percentage of people played it.

  • Engagement: The average amount of time spent consuming your content.

  • Time Played: The total number of time your viewers spent watching or listening to your media within the selected date range.

  • Unique Visitors: The number of distinct individuals who visited your content at least once within the selected date range.

  • Form Submissions: The number of turnstile submissions (on videos only).

The tiles display the data for each metric within the timeframe you've applied, as well as for the media you've filtered by.

Filters

There are a number of filtering options to view your Account Overview analytic data. Whether you’re looking for a specific date range, or to see where you’ve enabled a certain feature, (link Annotation Links or Calls to Action) you can do so with the filters on this page. You can set this page up to view all media, folders, or Channels, and filter by tags as well.

Timeframe

All of the information on this page can be filtered by a number of preset options, or you can enter your own custom date range.

Media

You can filter this page to view all media, or specifically media in folders or Channels.

Tags

If you’ve selected to view all media analytics, you can specify which tags you’d like to filter for. In the Tags dropdown menu, you can see how many media a specific tag is on, and filter for that tag.

Media Attribute Filters

You can also filter by various media attributes. Click "Filter" to open up the dropdown menu.

The filtering options include:

  • Media Type

  • Autoplay

  • Looped Media

  • Turnstile

  • Annotation Links

  • Call to Action

  • Eventbrite

  • Marketo

Once you’ve selected your desired filters, click “Apply” to update the analytics on the page. Once applied, all filters display as chips at the top of the page. Filters can be removed by clicking the “X” on the chip, or by deselecting it in the dropdown menu to confirm your changes.

Tip

If you apply filters and then share the Account Overview Analytics URL, the recipient will be able to view the page with the filters you have applied!

Account analytics line chart

The line chart shows you all of the data within the timeframe and filters you have set. Hovering over each day will show you the total for that day. If you've set your timeframe to view more than 30 or 60 days, you can filter the line chart to show data by day, week, or month.

Click the down arrow to export an image of the line chart.

Top Media by Plays

Within the Top Media chart, you can sort by Plays, Play Rate, Time Played, Unique Visitors, and Form Submissions, to get a better understanding of which media are performing the best. If you’d like to look more in-depth at a specific media, clicking on the media title will bring you right to the media so you can review it in more detail.

Top domains with embeds by plays

The Account Overview analytics page shows which domains where you've embedded your media received the top number of plays. You can sort this chart by visits, plays, and engagement.

Export account analytics data

Once you’ve gathered some viewing data for your media, you can export that data as a CSV file.

On the Account Overview analytics page, make sure you have the date range you'd like to export selected, as well as any other desired filters applied.

Click the downward arrow to export an image of the line chart.

For top media by plays, click "Export" to download a CSV file.

This includes many pieces of information, such as media name, ID, URL, unique page loads, unique plays, and much more.

Once you’ve confirmed the export, you’ll receive the CSV file via email.

You can also click to export a CSV file for embed domains.
