Profile Settings

The Profile page in your account is where you can change your email, password, and add a profile picture.

To access your Profile page, head to your account's dropdown menu and click "Settings."

This will take you straight to your Profile Settings page, where you can set up a profile photo, change your name, email, and password, amongst other options.

To add a profile photo, select "Upload image." From here, you'll be prompted to select an image from your computer to upload.

You can update your name and email, as well as select the department that you're part of at your company. You can also select your timezone, and update your password. If you make any changes, click "Save Changes" in the bar that pops up, or click "Discard" if you change your mind.

Note
When updating your email, the new email address can't already belong to another Wistia user. If you've lost access to your old email address or aren't getting the verification email, reach out to support.

Under the Security section, you can update your password.

Note
If you sign in via Google or SSO, you may not have a Wistia password yet. If you want to add a password, just go to the Wistia login page, click “Forgot password” (or click this link), and set a new password from the link in the reset email (no old password required). Now, you’ll be able to log in with either SSO or your email and password.
