Upgrade to the New Klaviyo Integration

Keep the data flowing to Klaviyo with just a few clicks.

Updated this week

If you're using an older version of our Klaviyo integration, you’ll need to upgrade to the new version to continue syncing leads.

Why you need to upgrade

Klaviyo now requires OAuth authentication instead of private API keys. Upgrading ensures:

  • Your existing lead capture forms keep working

  • A more secure and reliable connection between Wistia and Klaviyo

  • Future compatibility as Klaviyo phases out older integrations

What’s new in the updated integration

Once you upgrade, the new integration supports:

  • Video and webinar engagement tracking (e.g., 75% watched, attended a webinar)

  • Identifying known viewers without a form (using Klaviyo tracking cookies)

  • Behavioral automation, personalization, and audience segmentation based on engagement

Note

Video and webinar engagement tracking is only available on select plans.

What you need to do

Head to your Integrations page, click the "Klaviyo" integration, then click “Reconnect now” in the banner to securely log in with your Klaviyo account.

After reauthorizing the integration, the setup window will close, and the upgrade will be complete. This ensures there is no disruption to your current lead capture setup.

FAQ

How can I tell if I'm using an older version of the integration?

If you set up your Klaviyo integration before March 9, 2026, you're using an outdated version. You'll need to re-authenticate using the "Reconnect now" banner mentioned above to ensure it continues working and is updated with the latest features.

Will this affect existing contacts?

Rest assured, existing contacts and historical data will be preserved.

Does reconnecting impact existing Wistia forms or setup?

No changes needed. Forms and existing setup will continue working once reconnected.

What happens if I don’t reconnect?

Your current integration will eventually stop working. No contact or engagement data will sync until you reconnect.
