Connect the Eloqua integration in Wistia to sync webinar registration, attendance, engagement, and viewer data to your Eloqua instance.

Connect the Eloqua integration in Wistia

On your Integrations page in Wistia, search for and select Eloqua.

On the integration setup page, click “Connect”. In the setup modal, be sure “Custom Object Support” is enabled. This will allow Wistia to update contact fields in Eloqua.

Click “Connect” and follow the prompts to log in to your Eloqua account.

Once connected, the integration page will display a “Connected” status.

Collect webinar registrants with a Wistia Form

Note

This integration supports Wistia Forms only. Eloqua Forms are not currently supported.

Once you’ve connected the integration in Wistia, registrant information will be synced to Eloqua and associated with the appropriate contact record.

Sync webinar and viewer data

As viewers register for, attend, and engage with webinars, Wistia syncs data to Eloqua in two ways: Contact Fields and Activities.

Contact Fields

Registration information and viewer properties are synced to Eloqua contact fields, where they can be used for segmentation, lead scoring, and reporting. Wistia will sync the following data to Eloqua:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Last UTM campaign, source, and medium

  • Wistia User Key

  • Last registration and attendance status

  • Poll response count

  • Chat message count

  • Webinar link click count

Activities

Key engagement events are also sent to Eloqua contact records as activities. These events include:

  • Webinar registration

  • Webinar attendance

  • Poll responses

  • Webinar link clicks

  • Video CTA clicks

  • Annotation link clicks

Once synced, webinar registration, attendance, attribution, and engagement data can be used in Eloqua for audience segmentation, lead scoring, campaign enrollment, reporting, and automated follow-up.
