Email Settings

To notify Channel subscribers of new content and send important emails for Live Events, start by configuring your Email Settings.

Overview

The information you'll fill out in Email Settings (not to be confused with Personal settings) is important for features such as Channels and Live events so that your Wistia-related emails can land in the right inbox. To set this up, head to your Account Settings.

Note

Email Settings can only be accessed by an Account Owner.

You'll be asked to fill out the following fields:

Company Address

A physical mailing address is required by the CAN-SPAM act. This address will appear in the footer of all emails sent from Wistia.

Email (Name)

We send your subscriber, confirmation, reminder, and follow-up emails from [email protected]. However, you can customize the name that appears so that your subscribers and registrants know who they’re receiving the email from.

Social Profiles

Optionally, you can add your Facebook Page URL, Instagram URL, Twitter URL, and/or LinkedIn URL. These will also be displayed in the footer of your email.
