Email Settings

Ready to notify Channel subscribers of new content or send key emails for webinars? Start by configuring your Email Settings.

Overview

The information you'll fill out in Email Settings (not to be confused with Notification settings) is necessary for features such as Channels and Webinars. This ensures your Wistia-related emails can be sent out successfully. To set this up, head to your Account Settings.

Note

Email Settings can only be accessed by Account Owners and Managers.

You'll be asked to complete the following fields:

Company Address

A physical mailing address is required by the CAN-SPAM Act. This address will appear in the footer of all emails sent from Wistia.

Display Name

You can customize the sender display name so that your subscribers and registrants know who they’re receiving the email from. However, please note that the email address itself cannot be changed.

For example, if "Team Wistia" is set as the display name, recipients will see something like this as the sender: Team Wistia <[email protected]>.

Social Profiles

Optionally, you can add your Facebook Page URL, Instagram URL, Twitter URL, and/or LinkedIn URL. These will also be displayed in the footer of your email.
