Webinar Recap

Understand how your audience interacted with your webinar.

Written by Caroline F

Once your webinar ends, hosts will see a shareable visual of your event's key analytics, including attendee engagement, registrations, total attendees, and average time watched.

Hosts can return to the event room at any time to revisit this recap visual. The recap image can also be saved or copied from the event room from the "Save image" and "Copy image" options.

Analytics dashboard

You can also view in-depth recap analytics for your event via the “Analytics" tab on your webinar overview page.

Here, you can navigate to the “Webinar Recap” tab. The recap includes several data points, such as your Audience funnel, Attendee activity, and Engagement. You can see additional detail within each of these sections.

Note

Only the Audience funnel can be downloaded at this time.

Spotlight

At the top of this page, you'll find a spotlight for your webinar recap. The spotlight highlights key takeaways from your webinar, providing a summary of the information you can explore further down the page.

Audience funnel

Within the Audience funnel, you can see several data points.

  • Impressions: A measure of unique visitors to the webinar page.

  • Registrations: A measure of how many of the unique visitors submitted their information and registered for the webinar. This includes the registration rate and the number of visitors who did not register. Registration must be enabled for the webinar in order for us to collect this information.

  • Attendees: The number of attendees and the attendance rate.

  • Watched over 75%: The number of attendees who watched over 75% of the webinar. This also includes the percentage of attendees who watched until the end, as well as those who watched under 75%.

Click "Download chart" to download the audience funnel as an image.

Tip

You can see the number of impressions and registrations before the webinar.

Focused attendees

Hovering over the Engagement graph displays the number of attendees watching at any given point during the webinar. We’ll also display the number and percentage of focused attendees, including those with the webinar browser tab active on their viewing device. This metric helps gauge audience engagement and active participation during your webinar.

Attendees are considered focused if they:

  • Remain on the browser tab of the webinar

  • Switch to a different window

  • Move other windows over the top of the browser window with the webinar

Attendees are not considered focused if they:

  • Navigate to a different tab in the same browser window

  • Minimize the browser window where they are watching the webinar

Note

Focused attendee data is available for webinars completed after February 26, 2024.

Attendee activity

The Attendee activity section shows you how your attendees interacted with your webinar. This displays:

  • Average time watched

  • Total time watched

  • Chat participants

  • Chat participation

  • Average chats per participant

Note

Chat must be enabled in your webinar for chat analytics to appear.

Polls

If you added polls to your webinar, you can see information about them here. This includes:

  • Polls

  • Poll responses

  • Average poll participation

Attendee Heatmaps

To view attendee heatmaps, head to your webinar's Audience page. Check out this page to learn more.

On-demand analytics

After your webinar ends, we'll continue to capture analytics for viewers who register and watch your webinar recording.

Note

On-demand webinar analytics are only available for webinars created on or after July 24, 2025.

In the Registration tab of the webinar Analytics page, on-demand impressions and registrations will be included in the summary tiles and denoted in green when you hover over the performance graph.

In the Webinar Recap tab, audience funnel insights will be split into Live and On Demand sections.
