On the Audience page, you'll find data about who registered for and attended your webinar. You can also see when your webinar is scheduled, view recap analytics, and more.
Tip
You can also see details about your event from the Overview page.
To access the Audience page, click "Audience" on your webinar's Overview page.
Alternatively, in the "Scheduled" tab, click the registrant count on the right to navigate directly to the Audience page. Completed webinars will instead display the attendee count.
Connect to integration
Connect your webinar to your marketing automation platform and send registrant and attendee data to a list. If you don't currently have an integration connected, you'll see the option to "Connect to integration." Clicking this will prompt you to set one up. Select "Manage integrations" to navigate to your account's Integrations page.
Note
Only Account Owners and Managers can edit account-wide integrations.
Once you have an integration connected, you'll see the “Connect” button on the Audience page.
In the modal, select a list from the dropdown menu, then confirm you'd like to connect to it.
If you connect to a list after you've already received registrants, these will still sync to your integration. You'll see a notification indicating that registrations are syncing.
Once the integration is connected, you'll see the button display as "Connected."
If you'd like to change lists or disconnect the integration, click "Connected." In the window that appears, click "Disconnect From List."
If you'd like to select a new list, click "Connect" again and then choose a new list from the dropdown menu.
Check out this page for more information on attendance data.

Manage registrants
On the Audience page, you'll see how many people have registered for your event and, after your event, how many attended. If you have blocked domains, you can also see how many registrants with blocked domains signed up.
You'll see the specific registrant information you've collected (name, email, etc.). This includes the registration date, source, UTM campaign (if applicable), visitor type (new or returning), time watched, and more.
The audience list can be filtered by:
Allowed registrants
Restricted registrants
Attendees
Non-attendees
Returning
New
Import registrants
From the Audience page, you can bulk import audience members for your webinar using a CSV file.
Note
You must have the Wistia registration form enabled in order to use this feature.
To start uploading your registrants, click "Import."
From here, you may also download the CSV template to obtain a copy of the required format. Otherwise, click "Upload .csv" or drag and drop your CSV file.
Once your file is accepted, you'll be able to complete the import by clicking "Import and email x people."
Note
Confirmation emails (if enabled) will be sent to each imported registrant.
Export registrants
To export your registrant data, click into the "Export" dropdown menu on the Audience page and select whether you'd like to export all registrants, allowed registrants, restricted registrants, attendees, or non-attendees.
Once you make a selection, you'll automatically receive a CSV file download.
Manage webinar access
Wistia lets you manage who can access your webinar. Registration allowlists and blocklists can be used to limit access by email address domain. You can also prevent specific individuals from entering your webinar (see below). Perhaps you’d like to prevent competitors from accessing your event, or restrict it to internal employees.
To set up restrictions for who can join your webinar by domain, click "Manage access” from the Blocked tile.
From here, you can set up a block list or an allow list.
Note
Blocklists prevent users with email addresses from specific domains from joining your webinar. Allowlists are more restrictive and permit only users from specific email domains to join the event.
Once you’ve selected a list option, click "Next" and enter the desired domain names in the text box.
Click "Save allow list" to apply your block or allow list, or click "Change access type" to revert your decision and start from scratch. You can change these settings at any time in the Manage Access modal.
If you've restricted access, anyone with a restricted domain who tries to register for the event will be visible in the registration table. However, these registrants will not receive any reminder emails, and when it’s time for the event, they will see a message stating that the event is unavailable.
Note
Restricted access will not work if a marketing automation form is enabled.
To learn how to set up one of these lists for your event, check out our webinar access overview.
Remove and block registrants
After someone has registered for your webinar, you can still choose to block and remove them from the event. To do so, on the Audience page, click the three dots next to their name and then click "Remove and block registrant."
Once clicked, you will be asked to confirm your suggestion. Click "Remove" or "Cancel" to move forward.
Once you remove a registrant, their name will be crossed out in red.
You can unblock them by clicking the three dots, then selecting "Unblock and Re-invite registrant."
Manage attendees
Attendee heatmaps
Wistia’s heatmaps allow you to better understand how engaged each attendee was during the event. Click "Show Heatmap" to see how and when each attendee remained focused on your content and when they chatted.
Note
Heatmaps are available for events created on or after January 23, 2025. Webinars must use a Wistia registration form to display heatmap data.
Each heatmap includes the following metrics:
Attended: Indicates whether the attendee joined and was present during the webinar.
Focused: The times the attendee was actively engaged with the event window in focus.
Chat: Marks each time an attendee submitted a message in the chat.
Hover over a heatmap to scrub through frames from the recording and see exactly when an attendee was focused or not.
Tip
Click the heatmap header to sort the table by watched percentage and identify the most engaged attendees.
